Features

Key figure and price planning using absolute values and variances enables a structured representation of planning metrics within annual or forecast planning. It serves to reliably track key metrics such as revenue, costs, or volumes and to transparently display changes. Price trends can also be taken into account and integrated into the planning process to highlight their impact on the overall financial statement at an early stage.

Rolling key figure planning enables ongoing planning throughout the year over a defined period. It is designed to flexibly adapt planning and control to current developments and to continuously update them. A 24-month planning horizon provides an extended planning scope to identify trends early on and make informed decisions.

Multi-year planning enables structured planning over a period of up to five years. It is designed to map out strategic objectives over the long term—either using a top-down approach or over the course of the year, with the option to lock in individual planning elements. In addition, memos can be saved for specific entries and retrieved at any time as needed to document contextual information or explanations in a traceable manner.

Financial planning enables the structured planning of accounts, cost objects, and cost centers in an annual overview. It serves to transparently record financial targets and delegate budget responsibility to the respective organizational units. Through decentralized plan data entry, cost center managers can independently enter and manage their plan values.

Condition planning enables the detailed recording and evaluation of condition totals within the planning process. It is designed to analyze variances and percentage shares in a targeted manner and to present trends transparently. This allows you to keep track of all condition components and make informed decisions based on current planning data.

Questions and Answers

The following planning types can be used: Standard Sales Planning, Forecast, as well as rolling and multi-year planning. The planning data can be easily adjusted using the top-down or bottom-up method. 

You have the option to create and plan multiple scenarios (e.g., worst-case, best-case, expected-case) for each plan. Thanks to the integrated authorization options, customer-specific authorizations can be assigned within individual scenarios. 

Data can be exported via an Excel plug-in or exchanged via a bidirectional database interface. 

Yes! Within a scenario, any plan coordinates can be fixed, i.e., locked in. It is also possible to “freeze” entire scenarios or individual plan strands (e.g., sales rep – customer – item). 

Yes. Comments can be added to both individual coordinates and planning chains. These comments can also be stored for a specific period of time. This ensures that you can always justify deviations within a specific planning period.
